Quick and Affordable Roadworthy Certificates
Need to prove your car is fit to be on the road when selling or after an accident? As Licensed Vehicle Testers, All Automotive Solutions are authorised to issue a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) for light vehicles across Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Thomastown and Campbellfield.
A roadworthy can only be issued by a Licensed Vehicle Tester after the vehicle has been examined according to Vic Roads criteria. Any defects in the vehicle must be remedied before a certificate can be issued.
A roadworthy inspection is a check of the vehicles critical safety systems including tyres, suspension, brakes, exterior and drivers controls among other things. This inspection does not make any representations about the reliability or general condition of the vehicle.
When do you need a certificate?
This process is required in most cases whenever a vehicle is transferred or sold. It is also usually required when a vehicle’s registration has expired for more than 3 months and the owner wants to register the vehicle. The certificate will often be required when police issue a defect notice.
How long does it take to complete?
These tests usually take two hours from start to finish. As well as the test itself we are required to take photographs of the vehicle and store them for seven years. We issue the certificate and then complete our administration as required by Vic Roads.
